Week five down - week six starts today

I cannot believe that in five weeks I was able to run for 20 minutes without stopping. Looks like week six might be a repeat of week five which I think will be helpful. Week seven will be a challenge as I'm in London working for most of that week - but I'm determined to complete all nine weeks in nine weeks. If you see a slightly lost runner in London the week after next then it may be me.

Why would you repeat week 5 instead of carry on? Trust the plan

It's great how the plan works. Was struggling to run for 60 seconds a few weeks ago! I'm on week 7 now. We are doing great. Keep it up xx

Week 6 is a similar pattern to week 5 - well spotted! I didn't notice until someone pointed it out on here. It's harder though mind... (though, wouldn't it be odd if it wasn't, given it is a progressive plan).

Good luck! Oh and London running is fine, depending on where you are I'm sure you will find a park or two :)

Well did wk 6 run 1 and for some reason my legs are killing me today. Now in theory that run of 5 - 8 - 5 with walks is less strenuous that wk 5 run 3. Hopefully my legs recover for the second run tomorrow.

W6r1 is a toughie, it's the only one I had to do twice. I managed it second time, and then cruised to the end. You'll be fine by tomorrow, but have a nice hot bath tonight to relieve your aches and pains.
