Hi all, so I’m currently on run 2 of week 7.... I think I could probably push through and do 30 mins running.... what’s everyone’s thoughts on missing wk 8 and going straight to wk 9... am i at higher risk of injury etc TIA

Yes, exactly that... higher injury risk... and you won’t be as strong at graduation. You could probably do all 30s and be fine, but it’s a slight gamble. Even if I took that gamble, I’d do six runs.

I’d definitely say don’t skip any runs. It’s all about building strength and stamina. You may feel ready to run further, but your legs might not be ready and could you end up injured. Not what you want!

I would stick with the programme. Week 8 is 28 mins and will set you up nicely for the last week.

I found weeks 7,8 and 9 very useful mentally as well as stamina building. They prepare you for the consolidation and self discipline required to keep at it after graduation.
