Well, I’ve only gone and done it 😁. Can’t believe the progress that I have made and the impact that this programme has had.
I decided to tackle my nemesis , the hill, within my graduation run. And there were a few of them - but still managed 5.18km in the 30 mins.
A few thanks - thanks to Sarah Millican for being my motivator. Thanks to the Ministry of Sound for providing my soundtracks. And thanks to all the support and motivation from everyone on this forum - it so refreshing to find an online community that is so positive and inspirational.
A few tips for those on their journey- follow the programme, give it a go - you’ll surprise yourself, choose your routes carefully ( don’t run past pubs and takeaways 😁), use this forum - it’s brilliant and don’t rehydrate with a glass of wine ( this is my only time - honest)
It’s now consolidation runs and then onto bridge to 10k for me. Happy running everyone. I’m going to keep checking on here to see how everyone is doing 😁💪🤛🤜
