W5R3 wow I done it

Can’t believe I just managed a 20 min without stopping. Slow and steady really helped. Just kept saying 5 mins more.... had a real fear for this run... not anymore. Actually enjoyed it. Roll on week 6

Nice going Marko, that's a big milestone in the programme. Good luck with week 6!

Yesss Marko, nice one! You smashed the first long run in the programme. You only have 2 more intervals runs, then they’re all nice and long! Yours for the taking! 💪🏻💪🏻👏👏😀😀

That’s great... bye bye fear... you’re rocking this. 20 minutes in 5 weeks... how great are you and this plan? You’ve so got this.

You’re gonna love the 25 mins run. I bet your confidence will make you want to keep going. But take it steady and you’ll smash it !,

Congrats Marko 👏👏I’ve got to get my head round this one as facing it next week. A few runs before that though.

Congratulations Marko. For me, this was my favourite as it made me start to believe I could (and did) do it. Good luck for the rest of the programme 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Thank you everyone for the amazing support. Without this support I would have given up a long time ago. Makes a huge difference. 😃

Following this run I’ve thrown up several times and had a bout of diarrhoea. Feel so rubbish. What did I do wrong? maybe I pushed myself more then I realised

It's probably a tummy bug. When you vomit after overtraining, it's a response to your body rushing all the blood to your limbs and around your organs, and as a response, your stomach empties itself, so that it doesn't take up valuable resources digesting. This only happens until it's empty, and tends not to have diarrhea with it.

You probably have a tummy bug. But good running though! Keep it up!

Oh no that’s a real shame, sounds like a bug but don’t rush back to the next run, you’ve done really well so don’t try the run too early and risk it deflate your confidence. You will be dehydrated so you need to get rest and get your fluids back up first, take care 🙂
