W5R3 I smashed it!!

I just cannot believe it!! I run longer than 25 minutes!! t was only for 20 but I could do more, so I went for it!!! Just a snail pace and I enjoyed it! Wow who knew??? 😲😲😲😲

Congratulations on completing run 3 of week 5, even if you continued for another 5 minutes, that 25 minute run come later.

Onwards and upwards to week 6 runs 1 and 2, but be careful about those two runs as they have interval walks and runs and have caught out a few runners because of that, run 3 of week 6 is what you have already done by running for 25 minutes with no walking breaks.

Yes, I realised those runs you have mentioned. I don't understand why you get the walking breaks now as the point is to run longer?

Ok. First... be careful not to overrun the plan... it’s carefully devised to keep the injury risk down.

Now that’s out of the way... great running... and now you know you got this right? Slow and steady is the key to week 6... take it easy and then you’re all set to close this out.

Thank you for your concern. It wasn't my plan to overrun but the app was tricky at the time, so I had another timer to make sure.... But thank you for the pointers for week 6!

It’s all good... I missed a cue on one early run when I had 6 dogs around my feet... ran straight through a walk break... there will be some margin for error in the devised plan for sure.
