I shouldn't have had such an indulgent Bank Holiday weekend.
I shouldn't have drunk half a bottle of champagne last night as a small aperitif...
I shouldn't have had that extra portion of prawn bhuna the night before a run.
I definitely shouldn't have had an extra naan bread and rice the night before a run.
Oh, and there is absolutely no doubt at all that I should very definitely not have also have had what was possibly half a bottle of wine the night before I was due to run my first ever 25-minute run!!!!!
However, my dear supportive C25K'ers, I made it through the slight biliousness to complete W6R3 and to hear Sarah M call me a runner was worth every ounce of (admittedly self-inflicted) pain
Watch out week 7, I am coming to get you!!

Yay! Well done that’s amazing. Following in your footsteps - plucking up the energy to get my trainers on now, just idling the time away on the couch and my phone 🤫
Thank you cheekychipmunks and I hope so. All joking aside, today's run was fine on my legs, but, for whatever reason, whether it was the weekend of indulgence or not, my breathing was all over the place!!
Of course, when that happens, the more I think about it and try to resolve it the worse it gets. I'm hoping for a better W7R1 on Wednesday
😂😂😂😂 now that's the way to debut as a runner 🤢 in the face of adversity you dug deep and produced the goods! You couldn't have done that 6 weeks ago!! 🎉🎉🍾🍾(or maybe less of the 🍾😊). I'd better start looking for a hat to wear to your graduation! 🎓
Ohhhh, you're talking my language. I did W1 R1 hung over, and had basically not done one properly hung over since, but on Monday I had several beers and ended up postponing Tuesday morning's W6 R1 run to Wednesday (today) because my digestion could not be trusted...
Well done. Ooooh, is that what the app does when you finish W6? I suppose I shall soon find out!
