Hi! Tomorrow morning is my first run in my first week. Looking forward to mid-afternoon and my first treatment for muscle strain. Any advice: :)

There'll be no muscle straining if you go nice and slow and listen to your coach. Don't try to go too fast or do more than they tell you. 🐌 pace is the golden rule for these parts. 👍

And then do these exercises when you come home.

Take the "running" bits really really gently. It's perfectly possible for a light jog to be slower than your normal walking speed.

Two key things: Enjoy yourself and get to the end feeling that you've got something left in the tank and you're looking forward to the next outing.

Don't wear yourself out. Think "Slow and steady" and then "Even slower" followed by "Slow down, Peter!!)

Let us know how you get on :-)
