So after a lazy summer and my whingeing and indecisive post about whether I should now just run 2 km every day or not? πŸ€·πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ

I think I got it right.

I did 2km on Thursday, then Friday, then Saturday. Went out to do 2 more in the pouring rain today and I just wanted to run and run! Did 5 km with breath to spare. Didn’t push it further as I had nothing to prove but my ability to run 5k.

Feel fitter and am much happier in the rain. 😊

Yay and well done. You believed in yourself and you proved yourself right - and in the rain!! That's some commitment :)

Thanks! All I needed was to get back out there. The incentive was to just do 2k a day which I knew I was well capable of. Then I hoped it would just develop from there and it did. πŸ‘πŸΌ

Way to go... if that fits in with your life it’s a much better option that 7 2k runs in my mind.
