I have finally did it, I managed to run 30 mins non stop. I was geared up for this because of the previous 5 runs of more than 20 mins non stop.
I had the usual struggle half way (I was silly to eat a heavy lunch today π) my stomach was aching. Also there was garden burning smoke entering the park, which I was breathing into my chest π....Asthma finally caught up with me after all these weeks. But staying calm and keeping at it was the deal breaker.
I'm looking forward to Run 2 on Wednesday and finally the last Run on Friday....π¬.
I'll keep you all posted.

Well done - way to go!!! It's very easy to.give in and any excuse runs around in your head with those gremlins but you overcame them and kicked them.into touchπββοΈπππ
The finish line is waiting for you- what a fab way to start your weekend π
Well done you! Especially for sticking with it despite the heavy stomach and smoke! Looking forward to seeing your graduation badge next to your handle! See you in bridge to 10k soon
Thanks to everyone who read and replied to my message. This helped motivate me for W9R2.....well I am happy to say that I smashed it while feeling really really great about and during the run. I was relaxed and calm. I even ran an extra 5 mins to complete the 5K.
A couple of questions,
1) does it mean you have failed the 30 mins non stop if you stop to tie your shoe lace? My left shoe lace went loose and I had to quickly stop and lace up (on a hill as well)
2) during the last 5 mins I felt good to sprint up the last hill. Is sprinting (not too much of course) okay in moderation during a 5k run?
I must say thanks again to everyone from this community, all your posts messages are a booster for me. I can't wait to graduate this Friday. I'm definitely going to sign up for local park runs to keep this up.
The dream is to run 5k and 10k races in the future.
