Graduation day complete.!! After my last bizzo run i finally completed week 9 run 3. 2.45 miles. I will never be an Usain Bolt but i have finally gone from running like a cabbage in week 1 to running non stop for 1/2 an hour. Even if i am still beet red!! Celebratory rogan josh, popadoms and chutneys now on their way.

Thank you to everyone for their advice and encouragement. This really is an inspiring group, whatever our personal achievements are. X

Snap, same as Aussie: how the hell did I miss this?!

BRILLIANT, MB! :-) Congratulations, it's a fantastic achievement and honestly, this is where the fun really, really starts now! That's a great photo too and just highlights how much the running bug has taken hold of you! :D

Well done; you can do anything you like now - continue with the 30 minute runs for a while, work up to 10K, do speed sessions, hill sessions, stair sessions, anything you fancy, sign up to races - the choices are limitless! :-)

mancbird profile image
mancbirdGraduate in reply toMiles_Yonder

Stair sessions??!!

Think i will settle for improving my times over 30 minutes. I have also lost 1/2 a stone so that's a brucie bonus. :-)

I had an acceptance e mail from the ariport run. They will let me know in a few weeks if i have got in :-) Fingers crossed
