Hi I'm me.

I've just completed the first session. I feel my life is a constant battle to not eat.. I don't eat terribly - just feel full all the time and bloated. Hopefully this 5k thing will sort me out. 🤔

Welcome. If you’ve just completed the first session, you are already on your way. Well done, it’s far from an easy session. Don’t worry about speed or distance, go as slow as you need to to complete each session and trust the programme, it works. Believe in yourself and you’ll achieve so much... you can do this. If diet needs tweaking too, NHS weight loss forum on this server is also good.

You are now 23 runs from the impossible task of running for 30 minutes... but you can do it with hard work. It’s time to change your life, don’t panic.

Hey, you're not helpless. You are already helping yourself by getting out there & doing this. I'm only on week 6 & it is hard at times but you'll soon see a massive improvement & feel a great sense of satisfaction. It's an amazing programme & there is great support on here. Give yourself a pat on the back, you deserve it.

Mmmm. Have you tried cutting back on bread/rice/pasta? I had the same symptoms as you and this really helped me. Try it for a week and see how you get on.

Hi Mattimo, I was where you are 5 weeks ago and I have never ran in my life but loving it now. These small steps are fantastic and I still can’t quite believe I ran for 20 minutes solid over the weekend. I too have stopped eating bread as found this made me bloated. Best of luck xx
