I need some technical advice please. I've just completed Week 2 Run 2 and really struggled to hear Michael Johnson. I need to find a way to turn up the app without turning up the volume of my music. Any ideas?

Can't hear trainer when playing music
Do you have settings to pause music when an app is also playing sound? My default settings fade music to silent just before the coach speaks... which is great for the soul as I know I have seconds left.
It ought to be doing it automagically ...
Are you starting the music and the app in the right order? I can't remember what it says to do, sorry - I thought the app tells you somewhere though? There's a possibility it might not work well on your particular device but I don't know much about when that might be the case.
Also, I found that if I do anything like pause the app it sometimes messes up that "fading when the coach speaks" functionality.
Hi, have you tried playing your music first and then open the C25K app. What should happen is your music fades so your able to hear the trainer while the app is playing. By the way I use an iPhone. Sorry if your using an android.
Yep, you have to press play on the music BEFORE you press start on the app.
Thanks, guys. I am putting my music on first then opening the app. The music does fade slightly but the trainer's voice is really quiet. I feel like there should be a way to make the sound on the app louder. I'll have another look at the settings.
Sounds like you're doing the right things in the right order tech-wise. I have the reverse struggle, the occasional trainer chat spoils my tunes
Hope you get it sorted out...
I had this same issue. Was running and walking in all the wrong places. I started my music first but paused the app when I put my phone in the arm pocket thing
