I knew my pace was slow today but felt so good at the end I ran an extra 5 mins, I even managed 4.7k.
I have absolutely loved doing this challenge and plan to keep the running up, I'm not really bothered about moving up to 10k I just want to enjoy my 3x30 mins a week and also start doing some park runs π
To all those starting out, keep at it. On my first week I thought I was going to die, but loved the feeling I got afterwards. On the 2nd, 3rd and 4th week I felt the need to repeat as I didn't feel comfortable enough to move on but still loved the feeling I got afterwards.
Week 5, 6 and 7 took me by surprise, I couldn't quite believe I was managing to complete these runs but still loved the feeling afterwards.
Week 9 I had that feeling BEFORE each run, I was buzzing because I knew I was a πββοΈ runner, I didn't and don't care how I look or how slow I am or even if my face is like the child of a tomato π and a beetroot, I am a runner.
So stick with it you'll get there even if it takes a few more weeks than planned.
I would like to thank each and everyone on this forum, new and old, I felt that because the people behind the posts have went through the same journey as me their advice is more relevant.
I'm a πββοΈ, I'm a πββοΈ, I'm a πββοΈ
