Graduation Run - I DID IT πŸ‘©β€πŸŽ“

I knew my pace was slow today but felt so good at the end I ran an extra 5 mins, I even managed 4.7k.

I have absolutely loved doing this challenge and plan to keep the running up, I'm not really bothered about moving up to 10k I just want to enjoy my 3x30 mins a week and also start doing some park runs πŸƒ

To all those starting out, keep at it. On my first week I thought I was going to die, but loved the feeling I got afterwards. On the 2nd, 3rd and 4th week I felt the need to repeat as I didn't feel comfortable enough to move on but still loved the feeling I got afterwards.

Week 5, 6 and 7 took me by surprise, I couldn't quite believe I was managing to complete these runs but still loved the feeling afterwards.

Week 9 I had that feeling BEFORE each run, I was buzzing because I knew I was a πŸƒβ€β™€οΈ runner, I didn't and don't care how I look or how slow I am or even if my face is like the child of a tomato πŸ… and a beetroot, I am a runner.

So stick with it you'll get there even if it takes a few more weeks than planned.

I would like to thank each and everyone on this forum, new and old, I felt that because the people behind the posts have went through the same journey as me their advice is more relevant.

I'm a πŸƒβ€β™€οΈ, I'm a πŸƒβ€β™€οΈ, I'm a πŸƒβ€β™€οΈ

Thank you very much everyone for your encouragement and kind words.

It has taking me all my willpower to not stop strangers in the street to tell them about my achievement, I feel I should be walking about with "C25K GRADUATE" over my head, I'm that proud. πŸ˜‚

Woohoo, fantastic news, and your words of encouragement to us newbies are great, I’m doing W2R3 tonight, finding it tough and been told to slow down, as I struggle with my breathing, congratulations again

Keep at it, as I said I had to repeat numerous weeks ( Week 2, 3 and 4 I repeated over for about 6 or 7 weeks until I felt ready enough to move on ) but you will get there. The advice to slow down really is the best. All of a sudden your going to think wow this works and I can do it.

Sending you good vibes to get you through πŸ™

Well done and congratulations on your graduation 🍾 you did it and even had more in the tank to add on an extra 5 mins. When you look back the whole thing seems to fly by. But at the time graduation seemed so far away. Excellent job and enjoy them parkruns πŸ˜€πŸ‘

Hi, I know exactly what you mean. I have also graduated today.

The first few weeks were amazing for my self confidence as never thought I could run for any length of time (stiff/aching ankles and knees).

By week 4 Iβ€˜d lost all faith in myself but was pleasantly surprised when I completed each run. I managed to reach 5.23 km at the end of the cool down. My ankles and knees are stronger than ever. I plan to keep running, to get faster and run further.

Well done to everyone who made the decision to improve their health by running. Stick with it, you’ll get to graduation and beyond I am sure of it.

Congrats to everyone that graduated.
