Blood pressure lowered thanks to running.

Won't go into too much detail but have been on various BP meds for the past few years and sadly had them increased last year (my fault... Increased weight and zero exercise).

Since starting C25K, my BP has been slowly dropping over the past two months and for the first time last night actually read as low! Hopefully my GP will agree I can go back to my original meds and can stop taking the additional tablet prescribed to me last year.

So, this running thing really does work. Yes losing over a stone in weight (mostly before C25K) has helped but it hasn't had the same impact that the running has.

Good news, well done. 👍👍👍

I also take meds for high blood pressure, besides other things, and am hoping for a result like yours.

It's good this running thing (or in my case very slow moving forwards wearing trainers).

That's fantastic news. I've done classes at the gym for years. But the physical and mental benefits of c25k, even only a few weeks in are amazing!

Well done, it really does work. That’s one of the reasons I started running was because of my health, it’s a great feeling isn’t it?
