To park run or not to park run?

I've been invited by a friend to join her for a park run next week. Sat is my normal run day so will be wk 7 run3 day if that makes sense.

Not sure whether to give it a go - even if I just do my 25min run and then walk the rest - or run a bit more if feeling ok.

I quite fancy it - but wasn't sure if it was too soon to do it.

Advice?

Thanks x

Oh, it’s a must as far as I’m concerned. Just treat it as your normal run. Take your time. No one is judging you I promise. And I also promise that you’ll love it. Go for it! 😃

I’ve done Parkrun since I started week 1, I’ve really enjoyed it. Just do my workout per the plan and pretty much walk the rest.

Lace them shoes early Saturday! I walked one and loved it... you can run 25, you’ll have a great time.

Do it. Take your time, nice and steady. You might not be first but you won't be last either. Good luck with it xx

Yes do it and enjoy. I did my first last week and it was so enjoyable and there are plenty of others doing it at the same stage as you so there’s nothing to lose plenty of people walk and run just like the C25K plan 😀

Go for it! There's plenty who take their time and walk some of the way.

You may also find, if your competitive, that it helps and pushes you and you a achieve more than you think.

I'm not sure which your going to, but my local one is ace! There's 320 and the atmosphere after is so friendly. Go and enjoy x

Go for it, you can alternate walk/run all the way round if necessary. I've done three now, always last or next to last (it's a run, not a race), but everyone tells me "well done" as they go passed - even the high speed runners.
