Not healthcare, no, trucking. π I spend more time loading and unloading than most. Pushing/pulling pallets and the curtains on the trailer. Even hauling your own weight in and out of the cab takes it out of you on a busy day. π
Whoah, definitely a heavy day then! I do 12 hour days (in healthcare) but not nearly as physical (I used to unload lorries when I worked in the wine trade - but I was a lot younger and didn't have a dodgy back). You deserved some time out.
That was absolutely the right decision my love. Sometimes your body knows best. Not often, but it does happen. Enjoy the break. The runs are still there for you!!
