I really enjoyed the last run, possibly because my delightful 12 year old came on run 2 with me, I could have happily pushed him under a bus, it was the hardest thing ever whilst I was doing my slow wonky run he strolled along shouting mum mum mum mum at me with helpful questions like why aren’t you going faster, why are you panting, when do you sprint *note to self next time he comes go a route that buses actually use* and his best one, you’ll never sprint 5k in 30 mins if you keep that pace😩 who said we had to sprint the final run 🤣 thank goodness I get support here as it’s a bit thin on the ground at home
Any way week 3 run 1 booked in for tomorrow morning

Haha you've got a great incentive to keep going to graduation and beyond! We all have to accept that it is the natural way of things for our children to be fitter, faster and stronger than we are!!
Get in there! It is real progress so well done. It is great you are getting out there and doing something. Keep it up!
Haha, my 10-year-old daughter is the same way. She's the best/worst trainer I could have. Although she told me the other day, "you're still slow, but you're getting faster," which made me feel great! They don't hold back much, do they? Haha.
🤣 haha, this was so cute to read. Maybe avoid bus routes rather than seek them out...
Thankfully the amount of support on here should overwhelm what anyone had to say about what you're doing, however big or small they are. So far as I know, there's no 'sprinting' at all in the C25K.
