Week 2 complete

I finished week 2 today! Today's run was a bit difficult because it was so cold and I was running against the wind, but I feel great now after a warming shower!

Feel a bit apprehensive about week 3, but Ill try and do it and if it's too bad Ill repeat week 2. Do many people do that?

Hope you're all good!

If you have completed week 2 you are ready for week 3.

It's ok to repeat if you need to, but if you have completed the runs then move on.

You now need to begin to build psychological resilience as well as stamina and running legs, so have faith in the programme and also in your self.

You are doing great, you are out there three times a week, running. It's all down to you getting on with it, way to go you!😃🏃🏼‍♀️

People do it their way... ( bit like The Trump)...! So.. you see how you feel, but you will be ready for week 3..just take it, as ever, steady and slow... you will do it :)

Week 3 isn't bad, I've just completed it, found it ok (bar the cold weather!) :-)

I repeated some of the early weeks as I was so new to running that I was unsure of myself. It doesn't matter, just do what you feel ready for

Oh okay! I won't feel bad then if I have to :)

If you have completed week 2 3 times then I would move onto week 3 and give it a go. You never know, you might surprise yourself!!

Yeah I'll give it a go! Run 1 is tomorrow and I'm going after uni, kinda excited for it!

Well done! As others have said, trust the plan. If you've done the Week 2 run three times in a week and managed it each time, you're ready for week 3 :) You can do this!

Thanks!! I'll get out there tomorrow and see where it takes me!

Well done for finishing Week 2. You completed it, therefore Week 3 will be fine. No need to repeat Week 2 - if you can't complete a Week 3 run (I'm sure you will be able to) then just repeat that run until you've managed it three times and then you'll be ready to move on. They do feel like big jumps week to week but it's just those gremlins persuading you that you'll struggle. Don't listen to them, you can do it!

Oh yeah, that makes more sense :) Yeah, ignoring those gremlins seems to take a bit of work but it'll happen!

Well done especially in this chilly weather. I was feeling like you this time last week with Week 3 on the horizon, but it was no where near as bad as I expected it to be. Now I feel the same about Week 4 but I'm going to give it a go. Try Week 3 and I'm sure you will be fine, if however you need to have another W2 run or two don't worry you will get there x
