Oh tinzmaz it sounds like something you might be best to seek some medical advice on. You probably need to slow down a lot more too. Well done for getting to Week 4! Slow down and see how much better you feel! ❤️

You stuck at it, that's the main thing, next time you'll be able to run a bit longer. Every time you get out there even if you cannot complete all the runs, you are improving you fitness, so don't give up.

Slow down and you will get through it.

I can relate to the pee trickling..

Before trying the couch to 5 k app I went out to try and run with my daughter and I absolutely hated it because of this problem.

I now run over 5 k three times a week with no trickling.

I can honestly say just slow down . The muscles will build up I promise.

Good luck with the plan xxx

One way to manage it - and this is getting in to proper girl talk detail 😂 - is to wear a tampon when you run. It will seriously help. It gives your muscles something to push against.

I'll try it!

This isn’t my area of expertise!

Could this help?

Well done... I look forward to your run 2 report!

Maybe you need to hold back a little? Slower pace rather than going quickly on the first few.

I reckon C25k cd be good for the pelvic floor but u may need other exercises too. (GP?) Don’t know if this would work but maybe try splitting the workout in half at first - so insert a longer walk in the middle of the workout and do some pelvic floor work as you walk? I’d love to know how you get on. You won’t be alone with this!

Brilliant! Well done for starting :) You will get there, have no doubts.

First of all, then, slow down. Even if you run slower than you walk, the running action is different from the walking action so don't worry about that. The point is to build up to running more. It's always better to run slower for longer, and you will do that.

In terms of peeing, there are various things to consider.

***** SENSITIVE SOULS LOOK AWAY NOW !!! :D *****

The obvious one is how much you have drunk before you go out. It's not good to run dehydrated but there is a balance! Another option is to wear a pad when you run, although when they get soggy they can chafe - not good either! I believe you can use a tampon when you run although you'd need to use a little bit of lube to stop discomfort I think :O As mentioned there is a similar device for pelvic incontinence. The best option of all is to retrain your pelvic floor although until this kicks in you might need some of the other options :) I thought I had been doing my pf exercises for years but apparently I had been doing them all wrong, so it might be worth checking up on how you do them. If it's bad, go and see your GP who will either be able to help or will refer you elsewhere. Too many women suffer in silence - go and get it sorted! Good luck :)

And good luck with the running too - you can do this!
