I graduated at the beginning of July but have struggled to get back into the swing of things since returning from holiday. I made myself get up early and repeat W5R3 this morning and some nasty dog walker made fun of me!
She didn't know I had turned round at a gate rather than run through and that I was behind her as she mimicked my run! I may not be fast or pretty but at least I'm doing it.
A few weeks ago this would have been enough to make me give up but I'm not going to be beaten by someone's prejudices.
My aim is to be back at 30 mins by the start of next week and I will make sure to give her a big smile as I jog past!

Gosh what a nasty person but you clearly have a great outlook and you're out running which requires much more motivation than walking a dog! Maybe she wishes she could be fit like you but she's too mean spirited to show it.
You are fantastic! Your attitude is wonderful, and you are doing brilliantly! Well done for graduating, and even better for getting back to it
You are so right not to be bothered by what someone else thinks. You're doing this for you, no one else. And yes, it can be really hard when someone mocks or sneers or calls out, but hey, stuff them. Poor dog walker - she must lead a miserable life. Smile - you are a runner
