First run of week 9 and just made it home before the heavens opened. Just short of 4km today and once I got past the first 5 minutes where I always feel like I’m stumbling along rather than running it felt good!!

😆 At 4K I used to do my stumbling at the end, used to near kill the fast, healthy, young me. Now I think I’d crawl that last 2k maybe 3.

Good job... graduation is approaching... you’re rocking it.

Well done on getting to week 9. I find the first 5 mins a bit difficult sometimes too.

The first five minutes for me is a lollop of funny gaits and then I stop thinking and my legs work out how to do it. Best moment for me is that moment - you feel it click and know you can now do it!

I feel exactly the same at the start and I doubt that I will finish the run.....but somehow you do. I don't think it helps that I'm so self conscious, I get VERY red and sweaty within the first 5 minutes, it's not attractive look, then before I know it I'm on 10 minutes and I think, sod it, I can do this. Good luck in your final week.
