No never too late! Good on you! I am on W2R3 (tonight) and i have never ran voluntarily before. This program makes it possible!

Fabulous! Good for you, and you’ll love it! I’m only a little bit younger, and I’m totally bitten by the running bug!

Have fun out there!

The only too late is never. I started at 67 and seem to be regularly overtaken by 75 year olds at parkruns

Good luck on your journey , I wont pretend it was / is easy but I am so pleased I took it up.

Definitely never too late Vonny60. It’s a brilliant time to start. You might not enjoy every run but you will love the feeling that you’ve done it and that’s what keeps you going. Just take it slowly. 🐌

Definitely not too late. I’m 72 and just getting ready to do the last run of week 8. Never ran at all before starting Couch to 5K, and have amazed myself. You’ll love it! Well, I love it mainly when a run is over, but the sense of achievement is wonderful. 🤗 Go for it!

Sister! Doesn’t it empower you? Much better than sitting making quilts.

Absolutely! Several of my friends think I’m crazy (and I’m sure I would have thought the same a few months ago). But they also think it’s crazy that I still go out to work (at a job I love, so why retire?).

Welcome to the group. I'm pushing 60 and start week 7 tomorrow. Lots of support and guidance here from a load of lovely people so keep posting and tell us how it goes. The programme is very well designed to build stamina. Trust the programme and follow it to the letter - it works!

I’m just on W1 R2 - so we can do it ‘together ‘! Good luck 😃

Thanks. Just Completed W1 R2. I found it a bit harder than the 1st one, and going by my Fitbit my heart rate was higher. Going to stick with it though 🏃🏼‍♀️🏃🏼‍♀️
