It's never too late to start running : this 88 years old man started at the age of 61 - and he's still at it!

It's never too late
Brilliant!!
Truly inspiring!
Terrific! I've just started running at 60, now on w7r3, had never run before.
Inspirational! I'm approaching 66 so maybe have 22+ more years running in front of me! Perhaps one day I'll even manage a marathon.
You will if that's what you want to do. Some of us here have done a half marathon and a full marathon based on learning running with C25k podcasts. There's no need to do it if that's not your thing but at least you'll have the tools at your disposal should you fancy it.
Happy running!
Yay, go Bob! He's brilliant! I love the bit about his shirt and cut off jeans. Ha ha. Bless im
Wow! I am inspired. Thanks for the post
Really interesting article. Thanks for posting. I've been having an existential crisis about turning 40 and I feel quite uplifted after that!
Have just been looking up Boz's step grandads results from New York marathon in 1992 and 1994, just over 5 hours aged 72! he took up running in his late 60's, despite only having one lung due to childhood illness, and did several london marathons too and the isle of Wight one a few times which is a real tough one!
I used to see him out running the cliff paths 20yrs ago as he lived near me, he was ALWAYS out! amazing! will have to see if Boz's dad has the medals to show me and post a picture! he passed away a few years back sadly
