Managed first 30min run yesterday- great feeling as failed a few days ago after a week away (not running :-( ). Felt great and over the total 40 mins ran 5.7km . Can’t believe 3 months ago I could barely run the 3 mins at a time - what next anyone to keep me incentivised? Suggestions gratefully received!

What next? W9R2 :) Seriously, that's such a great feeling isn't it? What next for most people seems to be 3 weeks of just doing W9 running 3 x a week to get the legs used to it. Then it depends what your goals are as you could try to get a faster 5k or try for longer distances. Where you take it from there is up to you. There are podcasts by Laura to add interest to running, and other apps to help keep you progressing. There is also 'Bridge to 10k' forum on here too. But for now, chill out and enjoy the process. You've still got a month to find your way.

Thanks. Yes I think once I have done the three runs I may try to gradually increase distance in same time over a few weeks to give my self targets and then go to the 5-10k bridge blog for more inspiration!

Really exciting to have all the options open now isn't it? I hopefully graduate tomorrow morning and still haven't yet decided how to get to 10k, exactly, but I trust my joints and leg muscles will let me know soon enough!
