Stepped outside at 20.30 to take on run 1 of wk 9, perfect conditions. Carb loaded and hydrated i set out to complete 30 mins. Totally relaxed and enjoying the run i managed to nail 6.2km 😁😁

WOW, 6.2km in 30 minutes and that is only run 1 of week 9, perhaps by the time of your actual graduation run, you will be able to run a 5k in 24 minutes, that would be a record, I wonder if you are already an athlete just coming back to running.!?

Not an athlete, have not run for 35 years, last time i ran any distance i had just left school. Have worked really hard and cycle between runs, try to eat properly, don't smoke, drink very little alcohol.

yes Issue5 you have achieved that amazing time through pure effort, I have cycled since I was 7, never smoked ever but only started running when only 1 month short of my 72nd birthday, mainly for exercise rather than how far or fast I could run. Do let us know your graduation time of week 9 run 3, could be a record for a first timer here on C25K, certainly like me you are not a couch potato.

That’s an amazing distance for 30 mins. I thought I’d done good this evening doing 5k in just under 29 but 6k in 30 I’m envious!
