I did it and feel good I guess! What next? Ran until I clocked 5k.

Hey! Brilliant. When will you run next? Do you have a plan?

good point. i don't enjoy it, but started to remedy a knee injury, and it worked! do you run 3 times a week ongoing or switch to maintenance mode and once a week? not sure.

Hi there and well done. I still run 3 x a week. Did run3 of week 9 for consolidation, then just ran consolidation half hour runs and now do the 5K+ podcasts to build up speed and stamina. I do enjoy the running, it’s a struggle for the toxic 10 mins, but after that it’s ok. Parkruns are fun too.

Great that you finished, you must feel very proud of yourself 🌟🍾🍾

I am proud I completed the course for sure. I found out i am definitely an evening runner, and the thought of ruining my weekend on a park run sends shivers! I think it is an 80/20 thing and i am sadly in the 20! would love to feel elated or high fiving how cool running is , but sadly i don't get this, so the word fun and run are not related!

Things that changed during the course...

- I now snore, what the link is i do not know but my wife has not started divorce proceedings yet :-) .

- I now sweat profusely over the smallest exert... maybe that's good?

- My dodgy knee feels much better

- Quite like Jo Whiley's voice

Maybe I will get the bug with more runs...

You know what, Jamsandwich, if this running lark isn't for you, then so be it. No point doing a Parkrun if mornings don't suit either - do what you feel is O.K., you got off the 'couch', well done. You pushed yourself to complete C25K, well done. What you do now is your choice. But high 5s and whoops of joy etc. are not pre-requisite, some days are and some days are not. I recall feeling quite flat on completing the course. I was in shock!

So glad your knees are better, strange about the snoring.

Well done 👍🏼

Im running three times a week either 30mins or 5K as part of the consolidation runs , Ive tried to vary my routes so I’ve included some with sudden steep inclines to challenge myself. I tied myself up in knots trying to work out fartleks etc so Im just running because I can at the moment 😀have fun or maybe not 🤭
