Just completed W9R3, it wasn’t quite the 5K (4.7 to be exact) I’m blaming the two flies I swallowed along the way - yuk! Treated myself to some new running trainers to continue with the running. Park Run next!

Fantastic! Well done. Did the extra fly protein help in any way?! 4.7 is epic. I think that most people don’t do 5 in 30 minutes by week 9. Keep going - enjoy your new trainers!😊

After a visit to a proper running shop and a stint on a treadmill, came away with Brooks bright pink ones so everyone can see me coming πŸ˜‚

I am going to consolidate my 30 minute runs twice a week for the next 3 weeks, usually on a Wednesday and Saturday, however, tomorrow I am just going to run a short distance, say for 5 minutes then I 'll start in earnest with those consolidation runs on Saturday. On Mondays, I will just run for no more than 15 or 20 minutes
