Hi there. So new to running-done the gym, weights, spinning for years so decided on a new challenge. I’ve done the C25k from the beginning and I’m still alive but.....,,Just spotted W5R2 which I’ll attempt to do at the weekend. Why does it jump to 20mins??? Sure Jo on the podcast will explain but don’t get it! Any suggestions? Thank you 😊👍🏻

You have to go to one run with no break at some point - try to think in terms of total running time, going from 16 mins to 20 mins is less daunting.

I've got w5r3 on Saturday too, the program has worked for me so far so I'm not stressing about it. I will be running slower than usual though, just to make sure I finish 😜

Thanks for the tip-I know that at some point I’d have to do a long run (hopefully 5k!) but felt much sooner than expected. Am enjoying the programme-hope Wk5 R3 goes well.....let us know 😊👍🏻
