Feeling Ace

Haven’t ran for a week as soooo hot, but secretly I think I used weather as an excuse as I was terrified of Week 5 Run 3 (20 minute run) so was procrastinating!! Anyway with a nice breeze tonight I couldn’t avoid anymore and I only went and did it! Yipeeeeee. Feeling great and now I’ve hit that milestone I feel a renewed confidence to carry on.

Amazing ToryJa! Well done you. W5R3 is a big buzz and a great boost of confidence that indeed, it looks very much like we can do it! And you can! Brilliant! ❤️

Well done to you Toryja, I'll tell you a little secret, until the heat goes I'll not be doing any more than a 20 minute run, this morning was a good example of that, I intended to run for 30 minutes but at 20, which is, of course, R3W5 I just stopped and walked home, so for now until the heat subsides that will be the maximum time I will run for.

Yes indeed Toryja, this coming Saturday I was hoping to start running for at least 33 minutes using the 10% + three minutes a week more rule, but if the temperature is more than 13C that will be put on hold and as I say I'll only run for 20 minutes.

I think you’ll be waiting a long time for it to fall to 13 degrees AlMorr 😎☀️

I do live in Scotland and some of the morning temperatures have been as low as 8C, that was the temperature that I ran my final 30-minute post graduation run last Saturday morning at 6,30 to 7. I am hoping that will be repeated this Saturday morning for my 33-minute run.

Ahh now I understand. I think I will have to wait a bit longer on the south coast.
