Just completed w9r3 and feel awesome 😎 got back from Florida vacation yesterday where only managed to get in 3 runs in two weeks & a bit jet lagged so was a bit anxious but managed just fine - even speeded up in last 60 seconds. Any hints for next steps anyone?

If you look at the pinned posts, there’s one called

FAQ Post C25K Completed...What Next? by Iannodatruffe - that’s got lots of great info and suggestions in it.

There’s also a pinned July Graduation Badge post where you can let the admins know you’ve graduated, so you get the shiny β€œgraduate” badge added next to your name on this forum. πŸ’—

Well done!

Next steps - what do you want to achieve? A longer distance? A faster time? Share your aim and we’ll all try to help you get there.

Tbh I haven’t recorded my distance - just time. I am prob less than 5K so that will be my aim

Then my advice would be stick to 30 min runs twice a week and grow the last one by 10% - 33, 36, 40.

Good plan - I think I will also research a local park run πŸƒβ€β™€οΈ

Well it’s been a rocky road the last 2 weeks with me trying too hard to increase my pace ending up in potential disaster but fortunately no harm done - at least physically anyway.

Lessons learned - pay attention to advice regarding keep repeating week 9 for at least a few weeks.

Make sure you are kitted out in right clothing (especially in this heat)

Remind yourself of original aim to run for 30 mins - doesn’t matter what the pace is or if well short of 5K - you are out there and getting stronger each week
