Still perched on the edge of the running wagon and clinging on

I’ve just completed another very hot uncomfortable run. Thought if I got running early it would be cooler but sadly not.

Trying to build back up to my thirty min non stop runs after 11 days non running until this week.

Other day did walk 3 run 10 walk 3 run 10 walk 3 run 5 so 25 min run total.

TODAY I’ve done walk 3 run20 walk 3 run10 walk 3 so 30 min running total with longer stints too. Getting there. At least I’m still running I guess. Anything better than nothing in this heat.

Absolutely Jan, just back myself and finished rolling/stretching. Even at 7.15 it was humid and hot and I’m in the swing of it, not trying to pick it up again. We can feel completely smug now, having done the running for the weekend already 😇

I've just had an unpleasant run too! I just don't like the heat. As you say, at least we are running! 😅😅

Well done for getting out there. It’s so hot. Hope the next one is enjoyable.

I’m struggling too😖have only managed one run a week since graduation, at weekend when I can do it in the morning but can’t complete 30 mins at the moment. Think if just keep trying to get in any running I’m not giving up but your interval running sounds positive so could try that next time 😊

It’s great that you are running- and that it’s your choice to run as you want to. 😀

The more I go on with this running lark, the more I realise listening to your body is important. I am just recovering from a stinker of a cold and have taken five days out. I went out with an open mind and only managed to run for 20 minutes - Yes I would have liked to have run for longer, but what I did is so much better than nothing.😃
