Our village is on a flat bit on the side of a mountain. As soon you get travel more than a couple of hundred metres in any direction, things get distinctly steep. So for the dreaded week 5 20 minute run I went to a nearby village down in the valley. It's still not flat but it’s a lot better than having to run up a mountain. Pretty too as you can see.
The run went well. According to my phone I did 3.7km including the warm up and warm down. Happy!
