I'm new on this site .It's good to know there's others like myself out there that I can identify with !! It's been quite a challenge to get to Wk6. I've just finished the first podcast and I agree after Wk 5 day 3 I found it harder than I thought it would be. Doing the Race for Life 5k on Sunday so hoping to make that my Wk6 day 3.............

I done w6r1 this morning and really struggled which was gutting especially the euphoric high after w5r1! I was convinced I would breeze through it as I had just ran 20 mins without a walk break! How wrong! Roll on w6r3 and no more walks! Good luck for your race for life

Thank you ! Well done getting through W6r1 - you do think once you've ran 20 mins without a walk it's going to be a doddle but nope it's like going back a week or so ! I'll go tomorrow morning and tackle W6r2 . I'd like to have Sat as a rest day before running 25mins on Sunday at the Race for Life...................

That's my plan too. Although after this morning and walking 5 miles also think I may have to have a rest day tomorrow. 8 miles is enough today!

Thank you . Yes I'm intending to follow w6r1 - it's an ideal opportunity to attempt to run 25 minutes beside others . Hoping it will give me a boost . I'll be happy to walk the rest of the way
