I’d been putting off this run due to the hot weather, but as it doesn’t seem to be going away any time soon I figured I would just push on with it.
My first 30 minute run done! Just before I got tackled by a golden retriever wanting to play.

Congratulations to you Eilidh222 on completing W9R1, only 2 more until you graduate. Talking about dogs, my neighbour thinks he has tonsilitis, he has a golden retriever dog which cost him £1200 when the dog was a puppy. He cannot take it out walks, yesterday afternoon I took the dog a "walk", eventually, the dog was pulling at the lead so hard that I started running with it. This is where my C25K training came in very useful, I ran with the dog for about 3 minutes, got home quicker than I thought I would, Just about to go another 'walk' with it, I'll try not to run this time. My final 6th 30-minute consolidation run is due this Saturday morning, I am wondering if the owner of the dog would allow me to run with the dog for 30 minutes!.
