W9R1 I hate running.....

.....I don’t really. Just this morning. I really thought I’d enjoy this week but no. Today I hated every step of the way and nearly gave up every step of the way.

I somehow managed to force one slow step in front of the next and didn’t stop and of course I’m now feeling dead chuffed. I’m loving the fitness but I think even more I’m enjoying the increasing mind control that I really do feel is a major benefit of this amazing prog.

Two more to go 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊

Go Liz😊...

Extra rest days are allowed, drink plenty of water on non-running days as well as after your run.

Two more runs...hope you enjoy them😊x

Sometimes the runs are just only meh.. but two to go til graduation comes. Good job...

Take it easy. No need to push. Enjoy your ability.

You have come a long way.

As Jan-now-runs says, hydration and fuelling are critical, so beat them in mind.

Keep running, keep smiling

Good job! Some runs are horrid. Mostly if I haven't rested enough... Good on you for persevering, take some extra rest time and the next one will be better.

This whole thing is about so much more than running.. it teaches us so, so much about our bodies and our minds... totally wonderful!

Very well done you... keep it slow. keep it steady, relax into the last two runs and let those running legs carry you gently to the Podium!

Aw <big hug> I know how THAT feels. But someone pointed out to me that even a bad run reaps benefits, and you know, we all 'ave em. Forget about it and move on.

So many things can add up to a 'bad' run, and sometimes we cannot even identify why. But you will have many more good runs to come.

We are runners. We have to take the rough with the smooth. 😊

Well done! I have that too sometimes where I'm battling with my brain - something is telling me to stop (common sense maybe?!) but actually there's no pain, it's pretty comfortable and I'm taking it all in my stride. I've managed to stop looking at the clock too which really helps! I'm half way through week 6 and looking forward to the challenge stepping up another gear next week!
