Did not fancy this one bit... and after barely a minute of running, came the closest I have so far to just giving up. Legs were just jelly.
Kept going to be stung with a red-hot stitch after about five minutes. This subsided as I turned for home which was a straightish mile and a half that offered absolutely no shade.
Then, to top it all, at the very end of the run, just as I was about to stop, I spied annoying-friend-of-my-wife-but-not-of-mine-woman-who-I-really-did-not-want-to-talk-to-ever-never-mind-right-now, so I had to keep running, past her, miming apologies and pointing at my watch as if I was on some time trial or something, and keep running till I got around the corner and out of her nosy sight...!

I did my w8r2 on Thursday. It was awful. I had cheap slippy material long pants on and my top keep sliding up exposing my very large wobble tummy. I had worst hay fever ever and snot was running into my mouth. I stopped at the end and cried.
I hate running too.
But I did an almost perfect w3r3 this morning. Roll on week 9!
