W5R3 nearly but not quite

Tried to do this 20 min run early as so humid . But my brain and or body could not run today . I think i went off too fast . Had to have 5 little walks ! πŸ™„ Will try again on Tues or may even repeat week . Feeling a bit deflated but the good news is its raining here !

Well done, weather isn't really helping, I'm sure you'll crack it!

Didn't know you were running so couldn't shout support. But will next time.

Gonna try R2 tomorrow but it is mega hot here in Spain, so will be an early start.

I hope so . Take it steady tomorrow . We r are same run as i think i will repeat W5R2 and try R3 on Thurs . See how cool it is at 4.15 am( working at 6 )

Got it wrong I've just done W5R1.

That hurt, the weeks rest hasn't helped my lungs and legs, although my Achilles seems ok with the insoles in my trainers, will know later I guess.

But I'm back in the game!

Note to self, loads of beer the night before running not a good idea. 😁

No beer ! I know i feel it if i have some wine night before a run. Makes my legs heavy too . 😁

I did repeat W5R2 today and it was really good ; just me and rabbits at 4.30 πŸ‡ So we are nearly on same runs again .😊

Good that you got through W5R1 . And that insert works.

Which day are you doing W5R2 ?

Hiya, looking to do W5R2 Thursday but not at 4:30 😴😴.

But it will be nearer 7 as it gets very hot here very quickly.

The plan then is two days rest before the big W5R3 on Sunday before coming home on Monday.

Hope none of the rabbits got hurt, you got previous for shocking the wildlife into accidents! πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸš˜πŸ¦…

What do you think i am doing while running ? What with trying to remember to breathe and to go slowly i am a bit busy to abuse the wildlife ...they run away anyway because of the heavy breathing 😁

How are you getting on? I did Week 5 Run 3 ok but struggling with week six . Have done runs 1 and 2 and run three is 25 mins- a huge challenge I think. Let me know if we are on the same page!!

I did W6R1 yesterday it was harder than i expected as so hot at 7.30 am Doing W6R 2 tomorrow very early so will let you know .

I expect to find R3 25 mins really hard ...i had to repeat some of W5 . We will see , i am not too worried if i can't do it first time .

When are you doing W6R3 ?

Tonight I think. If not , tomorrow . I’ve been grandma for two days so am shattered. Up and down on my knees with a 16 month baby. I should do it tonight when it’s cooler.

Ok... I did it!!! Left it until 730 before I went out so it was cool enough. Hard work though!!

Looks like it’s all long runs from now on- week 7 - can’t believe it!!
