So this morning I tackled W4R1 but had to drop back to a walk just under a minute before the end of the last run. I was a bit disappointed, but having read some of the posts on here I've got it back in perspective.
After the very first run of the program I couldn't see me ever running for 90 seconds, never mind the 5 minutes I achieved today, so I'm actually very pleased with my progress. The end of last week and the weekend comprised of four parties, which meant more food and drink than usual and some late nights too, so that probably didn't really help!
I shall re-do W4R1 on Wednesday and keep my fingers crossed for success.

Well done for what you did! Thats a great achievement!
Good idea to repeat, make sure you are well hydrated etc, this time of year means we have to be really mindful of our bodies and what additional seasonal pressures we are putting on them!
You will absolutely nail your wednesday run! Make sure you update us😀🏃🏻♀️🏃🏻
You're doing great. Most of us had a few repeated runs in the program. Don't worry about it for a second, it was still a great run because you got out the door and pushed yourself. It all adds to the fitness.
Good morning Sarah, hope you read this before venturing out this morning .... best of luck, YOU CAN DO IT. Where I used to live in France they never say "good luck" it's always "bon courage" (be courageous and strong). I'm going to try my W4R2 on the treadmill again, but have my doubts .... after today it's zero runs, except of course to go and get another bottle of red! Back after Boxing Day.
