It was way too long rest day, meaning rest 4 days. Not proud of it. But important part is to be back out there and doing your best
This morning was so hard to wake up. I lost count how many times I got snooze before I kick myself out of bed, just to jump into my running gear. Quick lemon water, not so quick warm up and off I went. To keep my image of jog as a rest period I was doing kind of power walk instead of brisk walk and then doing jogging rest. It was going fine for the first half. The second part... I felt I was slower and slower with every step. I was struggling with heavy legs. Who put in some cement I to my shoes?!
A long stretching session put me back in place and ready for the day. Let's rock this world! I did it! Monday morning run! And finished week 1 Time to download week 2 of Laura's energising music.
Happy running!

I think that in this hot weather, morning and evening runs are the most do-able. I marvel at the athletism of those superhumans that can run effortlessly in the heat of the day!
Thank you. I agree several times I was left in astonishment . I was red-faced walking in the early afternoon and melting from sun while barely walking. Then, suddenly some happy runner just took over, no red face, no tiredness in appearance, just light happy rather fast-pace run.
Well done IgaT ...on getting out of bed...eventually!! Ohhhhh, some mornings just don’t want you to get up do they??? But you did...& with heavy legs you got through your run without those gremlins spoiling it for you....great start to the day....determination won x
It may be tiring, it may be one of those not so great runs but it's always worth it. The kicking myself out of bed / behind the door is the biggest struggle. After that point it's great. Me time, exercise, fresh air, stress relief... Only good stuff
