Finally out and running :) W6R1 - done, I think...

It was incredibly long week without running (last run - last Monday). I finally felt well enough to go out running, after yesterday's long walk with my dog I decided it's time.

Alarm clock 5am wasn't easy, but I managed to get out of bed. In the beginning of the run technology failed me a little. Normally it says to start running, but instead it was only a gong. So I ran 1 minute less. All the other runs I completed fully. I felt my running gods are waiting to see if I am back. I felt they were close, but not with me, not this time. Apart from the first run, the rest was quite easy, considering it was my come back after illness. Breath was quite steady, the same as my pace. My legs was not in their best, but good enough. Surprisingly, I found hard the brisk walk breaks. They were more like a stroll than a brisk walk. I just couldn't push those walking bits more.

Very happy to be back running :) My overall mood get back to normal. Can't wait my next run :)

Happy running!

PS. The post is a bit 'dry', as I usually write short after running, not after whole day. And it was rather busy and tiring day.

Oh Iga, I am very happy that you are back out running again, too. I know how frustrating it is to not run because of illness. I hope that you are feeling 100% well again soon. xx

Exactly 4 weeks - yikes. I did today very easy, low impact beginner 40 minutes total body workout. And oh man, I feel all those muscles. Even though, workout was really basic and more like level 0, I may have some soreness tomorrow. I realised that I need to concentrate more on strengthening my body and improving my core. It will all help me with running as well.

Tomorrow, 5 am wake up and W6R2 :) I can't wait the run, I don't want to wake up so early :P

Greyhound - hehehehe - well, working towards it ;) Never say never ;)
