Just completed week 9 run 1 and ran the course of our local park run!
Never thought I would be ready for this but here I am!!
I ran the full 30mins then walked for 5 mins for my cool down. With half km to complete the 5k I began to run and completed it in 40mins!!
So proud of myself and a little emotional. It’s been quite a journey when only 9 months ago I couldn’t even get out of bed without throwing up!!
Don’t give up - this program really does work. Watch out park run - I’m about to start another epic journey!!
Well done, love the bit about running the last .5k after your warm down, it gets you like that doesn’t it, look forward to the graduation 👩🎓 post

upped the pace and ran an extra minute 🤪😃👏. It really helped having my sons GF run with me, defo...
too much -- I'll redo the run if I have to, I'd rather complete the program properly than cheat my...
I did my run just after 11am, I ran for 30 minutes, picked up the pace in the last 2 minutes but for
drove to the gym ..........watching breakfast tv,..........I ran and ran, not letting myself check...
changed my life and now I am targeting Park Runs and signed up for Mo Run in Newcaztle next month....
