As the youngsters say... or I think it’s just us oldies who do. This is the official release of the retro runners Dad Dancing Classics Playlist. We’ve all been to the ‘family do’ with disco a la Peter Kay style, and the deejay, who tries to slip in some new stuff like garage, grime, when all the oldies want is an Abba/Sinatra/Queen/Elvis playlist.

Hi - Knew I’d get it done eventually - the 8 Italians have just gone home so after a day’s rest, normal service is resumed!

Next one is ska and two tone - Mummycav main reason, as she kept going off piste on the other suggestions! .... But ska and two tone long overdue... Dig out those Madness, Specials, Selector etc...

Hey Jan! I will wisely keep my current playlist to myself as some may find it disturbing, terrifying even. I did put in some early Miles Davis between some of, well, less subtle entertainment, in order to numb the blow.

Yup am about 100kms ahead - and am here in Uk for just more days - then back to scorchio.... It’s now about 24 degrees there at 8am, so dig out the sunscreen..
