Post grad run 1!

So I did it. I cast poor MJ aside as he had basically stopped speaking to me anyway. Have swapped him for my Samsung robot lady who I can force to speak to me every 5 minutes! She kindly tells me how long I have done, how long I have left, how far I have run, my pace and how far I can expect to run. Just her and James Arthur for company today. I enjoyed it. At half way I felt great and like I could keep going forever. Obviously that feeling didn't last but I did pick up the pace a bit and ran for an extra couple of minutes at the end...because I wasn't home yet...and because I could! (And it was downhill 😂) A good run 😊

Haha! Yes it might be one of those friendships where you don't talk for ages but then you just pick up where you left off 😂 Can't say the same for me and MJ. But never say never!

Wasn't hot here today thankfully. Overcast with some rain threatening. Have been frozen all day so was looking forward to warming up!

I am using the Samsung Health app on my galaxy. You can set a goal of time, distance or pace and you can set it to speak to you by intervals of time or by distance. I also have my Fitbit tracking my run. It tells me more than the Fitbit app and looking at Strava etc. seems to give me the same kind of info.

Only used Sportractive a couple of times. It tracks your route and gives you a voice prompt after every kilometre. I used it because it works off GPS rather than the internet.

I can't imagine the Samsung app uses much if any data. Also works off GPS on my phone, and the Fitbit links to my GPS too. I like to have both running so I can check against each other.
