Disappointed

I was so fired up and excited about w4 r1 after a good w3r3 but only managed to do half of it. I guess my 4 week hiatus caught up with me. I was undone by the 5 min run.

The plan is to repeat w3r3 and then try again. Just couldn’t seem to catch my breath

Sounds like a good plan!

Easier said than done but try not to be too disheartened.

You’ll be back on track in no time! :D

I have consoled myself with the fact that at least I managed the 5 min run before giving in.

I was exactly the same - it’s taken me three attempts and finally got through it... it’s a great feeling. Don’t go back a week - persevere, you will get there!! In fact I completed it this morning and feeling a great sense of elation.

Tip also - i found that the music wasn’t helping in week fours podcast - I swapped it out and that made a huge difference.

Well done Roxy! You still went out and ran. I’m loving your determination. Keep at it.

My advice: go really slow! Slower than a slow thing being overtaken by a sleepwalking sloth.

Good luck! 😀

I like your plan.

You know the saying “sorrow floats” (so you can’t drown them by drinking)? I think breath is a bit like that. The faster you go the further out of reach it stays. Slow down and let it come to you.

Enjoy the next run.
