Off I went at 5am to do the last run in week 4. I was a little tired, but limited time today and wanted to get it done.
Very pleased to say there were no shin splints, no knee pain, no ankle pain 😀 my calves ached a little but I’m okay with that.
It felt like I was taking it really slow today, when the reality is I wasn’t actually going much slower than normal. My warm up ended roughly where my cool down began, which is another achievement for me.
I did have to do a little sprint down the road to get back home as nature was calling pretty close to the start but I figured I’d be fine to get home again lol.
I’m really excited to move onto week 5 on Wednesday and do 3 different runs! Not sure how well it will go but I can only try
Happy Monday everyone x

Well done. Isn’t weird how our perception of our speed is so off whack? Several times I’ve tried to run really slowly and ended up as fast or faster than the previous run.
They talk on here about your natural, comfortable pace and perhaps we all end up running closer to that most of the time?
Yeah really weird, I knew today wasn’t going to be the fastest I’ve ever been, but I wanted to go out and enjoy it. And in the main I did! No pains felt great.
Thanks! Hope you’re enjoying your consolidation runs 🏃🏼♂️🏃🏻♀️
