It's really hot today in London (30c) and just wanted to post an update on my journey. I have now completed week 3, this morning. Few positives: I was out before 8am because I didn't want to do the training in the heat, which shows dedication. I did not give up although the last 3' were hard. I no longer have knee pains at all, as I had for week 1 and 2 - absolutely no pain, but some shooting pains in the calves now. But bearable. I think it's because I followed the advice I was given here to do a proper warm up (thank you again).
I had to do week 3 twice before I completed it because I did not finish the last 3' on the first run (was short of one minute) so I assume the week did not count. But I did finish the whole week today and really felt great!
I am a little worried for week 4 as I find it is a steep increase in the running time but I will now read what's available on the forum to give me courage.
wishing everyone a great week-end!

Sounds like you are making great progress, Muriel. Don’t worry about what’s coming next. The plan is brilliantly structured and you will be surprised what you can do.
well done, it sounds like you are doing well. I have just completed week 4 on the treadmill, time for me to take it outside now! running outside is what I find harder (hilly area) and I can see myself repeating week 4.
You can do it, Muriel! If you completed this week, the programme will have prepared you for next week. Just take it nice and slowly, and make sure you drink plenty of water every day, not just your running days. Good luck! 😀
