Finally completed week 7!!

After an awful week with suspected food poisoning and then sore calf muscles and pain in my knee (Think I strained something during a class at the gym) I've finally completed week 7. I went yesterday to try week 7 run 2 and it felt better than ever. A week of rest from running definitely helped me. I've had sore muscles from all the running and training I've been doing recently and when I tried last week they screamed at me to stop!! But I've been today and done run 3!! Managed to increase my speed a touch too as I've had to slow it right down before that. So so proud of myself as I'd never even imagined I could run this time last year. 😬

Sounds like you've had a sh**y week. Well done on finishing week 7. It's just 6 more runs then you will graduate! Wow!

As the runs get longer I found it more tiring on my body and had to ease off my other aerobic classes (spin classes - I love 'em). I don't want to sound like I know what's best for you, because I know that I don't, but take care and listen to your body. Don't overdo it. Take care and enjoy your last 2 weeks!

Oh i am. I'm doing a 26 mile charity walk in 2 weeks time so I'm not wanting to injure myself before that! Im having a week of rest before my walk so my legs are rested for it. 😊

Good luck, 26 mile charity walk! You are a keener! 😀 You will be great!

What about the walking? Could you have done a super long walk like that, this time last year?

I did 19 miles last year but had to stop because of the timing limit. Hoping I'll complete it this year.

You are one awesome lady! Good luck, dig deep and post afterwards so I know how it went.

That’s great Kat. Sometimes our body just needs a rest to be able to come back stronger.

I’m so glad you’re feeling ok again! 6 little runs to graduation! You can do it! 😀
