Well Iβve just completed my early morning w9r3 graduation run in beautiful sunshine. Itβs my second time graduating - I completed the plan last November but then found the early mornings too dark and icey so did nothing more until I ate far too much chocolate at Easter and restarted from week 1. I didnβt find it physically any easier second time round, but mentally it was a lot easier as I had more faith in the plan (and me) and Iβve really enjoyed my runs (esp the feeling you get when you finish!!). Iβve never really concentrated on pace or distance, just followed what Laura was telling me to do, but I tracked my run today and I managed to run 5km in 30 mins 13 seconds!! So pleased! I really do plan to continue my 3 weekly runs this time, and if the weather puts me off Iβll head to the gym to run indoors. Iβm looking into having a go at a park run in a few weeks tine.
Iβve loved reading all your posts - keep going everyone - you can do it!!
Im thinking about treating myself to a treadmill in the winter, coz like you theres no way iβll be running if theres even the slightest bit of ice π
Congratulations Gemma in completing C25K and graduating, nice to do that in a beautiful early morning in June, tomorrow is my final graduation run, a little bit nervous about that but looking forward to it.
