What a long way I’ve come in 7 weeks, now running for twenty five minutes quite comfortably, however I do find the first few minutes still hard going but soon get over this . Does any other runner experience this? Thanks

Week 7 run 3 coming up

Loads of runners..historically the first ten minutes or The Toxic Ten.. well documented and in some cases... much longer toxic times... mine yesterday 20 minutes
But then.. particularly now, when you reach these longer runs... your legs find their happy pace as yours are doing, and it is simply great
As you move on and after graduation, you will find even, there will be times when the toxic ten is less or longer or not there at all...but you will always know that you can run
Well done you

You’re doing great! IannodaTruffe explains it so forgive me as usual if I recount this incorrectly.
It’s because your muscles are struggling to get the oxygen you need in the early part of your run.
My advice would be to go really slow at the start. Feel your way to increasing your speed as and when you are comfortable. 😀
