Feeling rather smug with myself

Today I started week 8. Decided to run to my partner's house. 28 minutes could I do the extra three minutes. It's a long straight run along the prom . Had to run passed men in road sweeping vans, work men and people out walking dogs . I am a quiet shy person who would normally dip her head down walking passed work men but I ran with my head up high . Even got a thumbs up from one πŸ˜‚

I got a bit wobbly towards the end but didn't stop . I'm so proud of myself I could cry .xx

Brilliant, well done Deborah. And now you've done 28 minutes, and there are just five runs left to go... does feel like we are getting to be "proper runners" now, doesn't it :)

Good on you, head up high - you should be proud, C25K is not a stroll in the park 🌻

Well done!

It is amazing how your approach changes, isn't it?

In my early runs, I did them at dusk where few people were about. Trying to keep to myself.

Now I smile at people in gardens, dog walkers, cyclists, other runners get a wave or thumbs up. I even smile at the miserable bloke I see most evenings coming towards me...

Great running.

I think it's a look at me I'm running grin from me more than a actual smile.
